NDIS Service Provider

The NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme), a national disability assistance policy, will provide financial assistance to approximately 500,000 Australians with permanent and severe disabilities to receive Get support and service. It provides support to qualified individuals with intellectual, physical, sensory, cognitive and psychosocial disabilities, as well as early intervention support for eligible disabled or stunted children. It's important to note that NDIS is not a welfare system, but rather designed to help people get the support they need to improve their skills and independence.

We are a not-for-profit organisation providing these services at no margin

What Services
Can I
Recieve ?

I. Specialist Disability Accommodation

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is a range of housing designed for people with extreme dysfunction or very high support needs. SDA residences are accessible to help residents live more independently and allow for better or safer provision of additional support. SDA funds are paid directly to the SDA provider to cover construction and maintenance costs. Participants pay reasonable rent contributions and other daily living expenses such as electricity.
SDA-eligible participants:

  • Having extreme dysfunction or very high support needs.

  • Meet professional disability adaptation needs requirements and NDIS funding criteria.

II. Individualised Living Options

Individualised Living Options (ILO) described alternative ways to support and fund living arrangements for NDIS participants. The ILO has many options, participants can share their home with friends or roommates, besides, they may live in the facilitator's arrangement, or be alone with tailor-made support. Reasonable and necessary support provided by the ILO to participants so that they can:

  • Through an in-depth exploration and design process, determine their preferred life arrangements and support packages, and

  • Implement and manage support to help them live in the way they want, at the place they like and with the people the trust.

The aim is to enable participants to achieve their family and life goals. And allow people with disabilities and people with higher support needs to live fulfilling lives in the community.

III. Assistive Technology

Assistive Technology (AT) is physical support that helps participants:

  • Do something easier or safer

  • Do something they can't do because of their disability.

  •

These include incontinence-related aids, nutritional and dysphagia aids, complex home modifications, vehicle modifications, and visual and hearing aids.
NDIA has different processes for low, medium and high cost AT.

  • Low-cost assistive technologies: Under $1,500 per piece

  • Medium-cost assistive technologies: between $1,500 and $15,000 per item

  • High-cost assistive technology: more than $15,000 per item.

IV. Home Modifications

This service can provide people with disabilities with the necessary life modifications to make their living environment more comfortable. Of course, these renovations must be to solve the problems caused by disabilities, such as bathroom renovations, stair renovations, etc.

V. Housing information

This service is designed to work to break down barriers that enable people with disabilities to choose where they live and with whom. Housing and living arrangements affect our quality of life and may be affected by the following factors:

  • Live as close as possible with friends and family

  • A place where our children can go to school

  • Easy to find a job or transportation option nearby

  • The type of community we want to live in

  • Easy to access public places, activities and services.

Well-designed homes in the right locations can allow for more independent living arrangements, increased community connections and informal support.

VI. Home and Living Compliance

Home and Living Compliance means following the rules in NDIS pricing arrangements and pricing limits as well as previous NDIS pricing guidelines. The Registered Provider agrees to abide by these rules. Each time a provider makes a payment claim, they should confirm that they have followed the rules. Compliance is the responsibility of the provider and we will work with you to ensure your rights. The purpose of this service is:

  • Stop participants from paying the wrong amount

  • Make the market fair to participants

  • Leveling the playing field for providers
